Jim Dowling is an Associate Professor at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, a Senior Researcher at SICS RISE, and CEO of Logical Clocks AB. His research interests span all types of distributed systems and extend to systems support for machine learning. He is the lead architect of Hops Hadoop (www.hops.io), the world's most fastest and most scalable Hadoop distribution. He teaches the first and largest course in Sweden on Deep Learning, and he is a regular speaker at Big Data and AI industry conferences.
